Maximizing the Benefits for Your Business or Organization

We recommend using the following available features on Trees of PA to efficiently promote a business or organization's products and services. • Blog - Use your personal blog area as a landing page. Provide notices and links to other features using blog posts.
• Directory - List your business or organization.
• Community  - Join groups or create your own group. There is no limit to how many you can join.
• Calendar - Post events in the Trees of PA Calendar.
• Forum - Direct users to a forum discussion for detailed responses.

We have other great resources on Trees of PA, but familiarizing yourself with these ones will provide the greatest benefit in the beginning.

The blogging options with Tree of Pennsylvania will be a great resource for many of our registered users. However, it may be a bit confusing for those just starting.

The blogging component we use provides for multiple bloggers (that is, every registered user). Although you do not technically have your own blog, you might think of it as having a blog within the Trees of PA Blog.

First of all, when you click on the "Blog" tab under "Current Topics" in the main menu bar, you will be taken to the main blog. Here you will see every post from every user, with the most recent appearing at the top of the page. You will also have access to the Blog Menu Bar if you are registered and logged in.

We're working out the bugs. Although most of Trees of Pennsylvania is ready to go, we have many small issues to resolve.

Before I describe some of our ongoing efforts, I want to mention our Community. If you are familiar with Facebook, it might help to think of this feature as the Facebook of trees, forests, and those who have a passion for all things of the outdoors. As far as I know, the Community is functioning smoothly and ready for you. Why not jump in, make some new friends, uploads some pictures, discuss upcoming events, and see what others are up to. Don't forget to recommend our community to your friends!

I think the Trees of PA Community will become a favorite destination for many of our registered users. It has so much to offer and provides a great forum for interacting with others.

As a member of the Allegheny Mountain Woodland Association, I participate in a number of tree/forest educational programs every year. Experts provide programs of interest to woodlot owners and just about anyone who is an outdoor enthusiast. However, no matter how good the presentation is, I have long wondered if the favorite component isn't the informal time spent with others during breaks and after the program concludes.
